I love the color of the dress, and I love how the sleeves look when the dress is on. I admire your creativity! I think that was a perfect dress to wear to a fancy wedding. Do you have any more unmarried children? If so, for the next wedding you should make the clothing for the entire wedding party. I'd love to see what you'd come up with. Or maybe you will help a grandchild make their prom clothing.

Oo, it looks so much better on you! I too love the sleeves. I'm also tickled by how you dyed it with tea, coffee and black beans (I'd never heard of anyone dyeing with beans before).

My son is now a married man! And, I finally got the chance to wear the dress. These pics are taken from family cameras, so they're pretty bad (bad lighting, etc) It's still going to be a while before professional photographs are in. But I thought you all might like to see the dress being worn. So, here goes.

This is me with my older son, who was an usher in his brother's wedding.

Dancing with the groom. We all had a blast!

And with the youngest member of the family - my newest grandson. So sweet.

So, how do you think it turned out? Too crazy for an elegant wedding? (I'm literally wearing a tablecloth!) Or, does it work?

You look gorgeous!
