Etching is on my to do list for 2014!

Here are some of the finished infused salts & sugar:
Image
from top left down: meyer lemon & rosemary (the big winner), toasted garlic, malbec
from top right down: parsley-kale (the 'Portland' salt), cherry bomb and black cardamom-vanilla bean organic sugar
the salts had bases of celtic grey, coarse sea salt and Himalayan pink crystals

These are the ones I took to my sister in Brooklyn, and TSA seriously took samples to run tests on....yet gave me back the salts. Okay. I gave more to local friends for being awesome.

Ohhhhh pretty! I used the same jars for my body stuff.

I really like the body butter I made, my legs get so dry in the winter and then itchy from my socks tugging at my leg hairs, and that is pretty much gone. And since I made it myself and didn't pay out the nose through it, I feel okay putting it on my whole body when I get out of the shower. If I paid retail for it i'd feel like I have to conserve.

I made mini panfortes and wrapped them in parchment paper and tied it up with ribbon. They turned out great!
