I made these kitty brooches for Cat Town in Oakland to sell in hopes of raising $ for the cat cafe. I also made a few for my crazy cat chick friends!

I think $7 is reasonable. I think I'd prefer brooch over ring but rings have always kinda driven me up the wall. I know I'm not the majority voice on that point:-)

Do you perchance have any with orange kitties on them?

i believe the kitties do not come in orange. :( i only have golden delicious & pink grapefruit kitties right now. i can do a orange heart or border - not the same as a orange kitty sorry.

i was just thinking rings if people are fearful of holes in their clothing or something. i could do hair clips as well.

I love the hair clips idea too!

The golden cat might work by the way. my cat is orange but not a really deep rich orange. I've had eople call him yellow.

So the bobby pin idea does work, they are not to heavy. I tried them out today. I do not have pics because I just used scraps. Basically it is a full bobby pin with a heart kitty on the end.

I need to buy more supplies this week. In addition to the colors I mentioned above I will have: black licorice kitties and kitty kale (green) kitties. The hearts can be any color (I have pastels, metallic shades, basics). The border can be solid: black, red, neon pink, light pink, bright pink, green, yellow, neon green, white, grey, bright turquoise blue. I also have traditional leopard and pink leopard right now.

If the weather is nice I will be able to paint a lot this week, I paint/sand outside.

If anyone wants a costume kitty brooch or hair pin - let me know. Shipping would just be a few bucks. If you buy one I will throw in a few kitty toys I made as well.

I'd definitely like to get a hair thingie. I'll think about colours and let you know, hopefully very soon.
