I'm learning to play guitar right now, and I was wondering if anyone had any advise on how to find a vegan-friendly guitar to purchase? My learner guitar is super cheap and hence probably is in the clear (the nut is plastic and the inlays are very obviously not real mother of pearl. I can't be 100% sure about the glue or guitar finish unfortunately). However, I'll be wanting to upgrade to a better quality instrument soon.

Does anyone know of any intentionally vegan or accidentally vegan electric guitars that are currently available on the market? If not, does anyone know of any veg-friendly luthiers that may be willing to take on a vegan custom job?

Another option I'm considering is buying a used or vintage guitar. It's unlikely to be completely animal product free, but if all else fails, at least it wouldn't require any further animal suffering or death.

I would appreciate any feedback or insight you may have. Thanks!

Not electric, but Bedell makes these:

There's good strap options out there like Mono and Couch if you haven't seen them yet.
