Not sure if this has been brought up, but what's the deal with the "Your Post Contained Too Few Characters" restriction on the quick reply?

ETA: I only got that message when I tried to submit an empty post.

I only get the message if there is no visible content. (a message with only bbcode formatting did trigger the error.)

Its hard to manage large post with pictures etc, the scroll menu jumps up/down so you dont see what you are writting. Like Facebook if you have to much info in a mail.

I am really missing the immediate link to people's blogs and websites, can this come back please??

Linked text is still barely discernible from regular text. Is this fixable? I see people reposting links because they don't notice one has already been provided. Confusion! Anarchy! Horror!

Yes, we have to fix that.

It's an easy fix. Just give me a color or two.

Yeah, would red of some sort seem to severe? How about a really dark red? Like this?

The problem is that every link turns that color. So you really have to like it. I'll put it in, and if you still like it in the morning then it's a keeper!

Now I cant tell the difference between mods and plebs!

Yeah, all the names are red now, which I don't mind. But why are some of the thread titles red and some still gray? They're not ones with new posts and I can't figure out what the pattern is.

Edit, you can actually kind of tell the mods from the members. The mod red is a slightly lighter shade than the member color, I think.

The mod color must stand out more!

Or else, what's the point of being a mod?

I endorse this suggestion, especially the second part.

ha. YES! "please be gentle" "popping my food porn cherry" and "cream pie" need to be banned from food porn.

a few months ago I had to try to explain to my mom's boyfriend why it was called food porn and he was totally lost.

So what colors do people suggest for mods and links? I don't want it to be all rainbow bright in here, but yeah, mods should have a different color. What about...gray? Or make links a lighter gray and keep mods red?

Maybe the mods (or the links) could be the same orange as the names of the subforums on the index page? At least you wouldn't be adding a whole 'nother color that way.
