Sometimes in the "Who's browsing this forum" I will see "Yahoo [bot]" or "Google [bot]". Does this mean we are being spied on? (I don't know if this question belongs in this room. Feel free to move)

It's been answered before but I can't remember where, so I'll answer it again.
Those are the programs that read what's on the PPK and list it in their respective search engines. Are you being spied on? No, no more than you are on any other website. The PPK is publicly searchable.

Ah, I see. Thanks brian. I feel less creeped out now. (Oh, and sorry, I should have done a search before making a new thread.)

great. the bots are recording vegan and poop spying stroganoff as keywords for finding ppk, as if we didn't already have that connection! Think of bots as the entities that read the entire 'net so you don't have to.
bots are also why the gun company come up searching for ppk.
Brian, I wonder, so the bots read pre- or post-filter (such as nutritional yeasty or stroganoff)

Oftentimes, first thing in the morning here, I'm all alone on the ppk with the bots. And I get scared.
