I keep being told that my images are too big (can be no wider than 800 pixels).
I adjust them in photobucket, and try again.
It doesn't seem to (always?) matter that they aren't actually bigger than 800 pixels wide.

The dimension limits right now are 800px wide by 1000px tall. If it fits within those limits, post a link to the image and I'll check it out.
