Post subject: Searching - Multiple results for same threads

Bought 20lbs of vegan protein powder

Just a question -
When you search a word, you get a result for every occurrence of the word - like I searched "silken" and it gave me a result for every single occurrence of "silken," including a result for every posting in the thread. Is there a way to condense the results somehow?

does using "search first post topic" help at all? (of course it wouldn't help for when it's not mentioned in the first post, but later on in the thread, but it'd probably make it 90% effective.)

If you click the radio button for "Display results as topics" instead of "posts," you get only one hit per thread instead of one per individual post.

Also, you can adjust the value under "Return first X characters of post" if you do want to see every post but want a more concise result.
