I like the new boards a lot. I admit that when I heard we were getting new boards I thought it was unnecessary--the old boards are great. But the new ones are awesome: shiney new functions and aesthetically pleasing.

No smilie accurately reflects the shame I feel at this moment.

Are we allowed to say good things in here too? You guys are awesome at fixing stuff right away. I love that there are more posts per page now. I'm still getting used to finding everything, but it all looks great so far.

Same, I like using smilies but the yellow ones are a bit crazy. I might turn them off.

Also? It took me forever to get used to all that PPK orange and red, and I grew to love it, and now I shall get used to this.

eta: Can we get the cute fruit and stars and flowers at the top to go down the sides and at the bottom? I love them and it'd look really nice.

For the record, new ppk is snappier than old ppk on my Android.

Will there be themes like the old boards or is this the colour scheme everyone will see? I like this one, but you know, options are good too!

From a design perspective, the new PPK is splendid. The color scheme is gorgeous, the arrangement of the rooms is both functional and pleasing to look at. I would personally prefer to have 50 posts per page, as was my old setting, but I'd be happy to see how it goes with 25. It is also taking me longer to read because the size of the type and the amount of space in the posts seems to have increased, but this is not inherently a flaw; it is probably kinder to our sense of vision to not be squinting.

The thing I like most is the addition of a soy-free and a gluten-free room in the kitchen. With so many PPKers with allergies, I think this will be a great resource. As stated in another thread, I'd be interested to see where the threads on bodily functions land as we have moved on up from a bathroom to a spa ; ) But you know the PPK, I'm sure we'll find a way!

I'm not a big fan of the link color. It's the same color as the regular text, so I wouldn't even realize it's a link if it's not something obvious that being made into a link.

I think actually the color of the linked words is slightly blacker than the dark gray text. Or shall I call it charrrcoal?

Anyway, it's really easy to navigate. I like the new subforums, everything is loading quickly, and it's nicely organized. Lots of new mods, I see!

How do we post gifs?

On the previous iteration of these boards you could use [img] tags. Here I get the message that "Could not determine dimensions of picture."

I'm still using the [img] tag. Maybe it is a problem with the picture itself?

I had PPKlassic set on charcoal so all this white feels echo-y and new. I love the graphics at the top though.
