I don't have an apple. How do you do it on other computers?

Right-click and open in a new window? I guess... I have a mac.

Control-Left Click, usually.

On PCs, you right click. For macs that don't have a right mouse button, you hold down the apple/control key while you click regularly.
And yes, you can force it to open in a new tab, but littlebear was wondering if the mods could set it to open in a new tab by default.

Either CTRL + click (which gives you a menu, if I recall) or Option+click which should open a new tab. Assuming Firefox.

At this time I don't see changing links so that they open in a new window/tab by default any time soon. Not everyone wants links to open in new tabs/windows every time and it's much easier to make links open on the same page with the option (via right-click or control-click) of opening in a new tab/window than it is to make them open in a new tab/window with the option of opening on the same page. Get what I'm saying? Opening on the same page is more flexible. Opening in a new tab/window is forcing it upon everyone.

I feel stupid asking this question, as I think I should be able to figure it out, but how does one include a link to something. I highlighted a restaurant name in a previous thread and thought I could include the link by then clicking on the URL button at the top of the screen and adding it, but it didn't seem to work. Can someone who knows how to do this provide some easy detailed instructions?

Yuck. Not what I wanted. I want it where you can just put your cursor over the text such as "Amani's Veggie Garden" and then you can click on it and the URL will come up separately.

You did it almost right. You just had an extra bracket that doesn't belong (you close the first bracket twice...take out the first closing bracket).

Your name is Amani?? I babysit a girl named Amani. Not that it is relevant to your issue, but just interestign as it is not a common name.
