Can someone please recommend a good site on menu planning for me? I am not talking about a menu plan that tells you what the eat, but a fill in the blank that helps make sure you shop for the right stuff at the grocery store sort of deal. It seems like half the time we don't have any food in the house and half the time food is getting spoiled. I just need something to help me be more organized. When I search for vegan menu planning, I just find lists of what to eat and talk about weight loss. That is not what I want. I just want to be organized so I have the right amount of ingredients available to make yummy meals. Any ideas?

Lifehacker reviewed a few apps. I'm currently trying out Grocery IQ, Food on the table and Food Planner for android. Most of them run websites and the apps just allow you to see your account info like shopping lists, recipe selection, and meal plan.
Still working on motivating myself to go through them and actually plan a menu.
