Last year someone posted their favorite stuffing recipe that was pretty simple and then I made it and loved it. This is all the information I have on this stuffing. I want to make it again, but of course no recipe. So let's just casually talk about our favorite stuffing recipes and then maybe that one will appear here and I can rejoice.

Do you remember what was in it? I'm not a big fan of stuffing. I do like a mexican style stuffing that has jalapenos, olives and soyrizo in it though.
I also like crunch if I'm going to have stuffing. Like celery, walnuts and what not.

Was it cornbread stuffing or the kind with bread cubes? I usually just buy a stuffing mix that doesn't contain dead bird juice and prepare it with vegetable broth, earth balance, celery, and onion.

Whoa, that sounds fantastic, especially as a cornbread stuffing.

(i got the idea from here years ago.)

Desdemona's stuffing rules. It's the best.

LazySmurf wrote: Last year I made the diner dressing from vegan diner and I loved it. For me, it's the perfect traditional recipe. I second this - I'm officially in love with this recipe. I grew up with cornbread dressing, but it was made with all kinds of disgusting bird parts (like, the stuff that comes in the bag). I only learned that as an adult. So I doubt I'll ever be able to veganize Granny's recipe. This is a deliciously suitable alternative.
