I want to make Tiramisu for a friends Italian themed birthday and was wondering what the best recipe I could use would be. I have a lot of cookbooks including World Vegan Feast which has a recipe for it. Anyone made it or another one that they have loved? Thanks in advance!

Someone just blogged the World Vegan Feast one for MoFo and I thought it looked amazing. Also, while not as traditional, I find the tiramisu cupcakes in Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World to be pretty fantastic.

The one in the vegan wikibooks section was pretty good, but needed longer to set.

I've only made the Urban Vegan one. It was really good, and got rave reviews from omnis who didn't realise it was vegan. But I didn't really like that it used a specific pre-made vegan cream (Soyatoo, maybe?), because I had to drive across town and pay a fortune for it. The World Vegan Feast one gives you options to make those components from scratch, so I'm pretty keen to give that one a go in future.

I would definitely go with the one from World Vegan Feast by Bryanna Clark Grogan (for something more complex) or Dynise Balcavage's from Urban Vegan.
