Good question; I'm sorry I don't have a recipe but I've been wanting to veganize my mom's recipe for years. It has 5 or 6 eggs in the recipe and I'm stumped on how to get the right texture...maybe mashed bananas with agar agar or something like that would work...
I hope someone will come post a great idea!!

I'm sure there's one in Bryanna CLark Grogan's "World Vegan Feast".. or maybe she turned a chess pie into a cross, with shoo fly pie? Anyway, that maple chocolate shoo fly pie is easy, and amazing.

I may be totally wrong about this, but I want to say that a chess pie is essentially a pecan pie without the pecans. So, find a vegan pecan pie recipe (Pie in the Sky or Vegan Family Kitchen are the two that come to mind) and go from there?
