I did not need to know that Tings in bulk reside at Amazon. Ordering now.

I must live in some kind of Tings haven, because I've never not been able to buy them at every food store I go to (TJ's aside). I rarely buy them, but when I do it's at a regular grocery store (Stop & Shop).

Ordering now. yay! i love amazon for lots of bulk stuff - i can get toothpaste (nature's gate & dr. ken's), tooth floss, seventh generation tp, and recycled tissues (green forest, methinks) for a lot cheaper than i can in the stores around here. many of the items we buy have that "super shipping savings" thingy - so it's free shipping. w00t!

I saw them at Stop & Shop (mainstream grocery)! I didn't buy them though, I'm curious now though because people are saying they've changed.

My theory on Tings: They aren't very good. They have the taste and texture of styrofoam mixed with wet cardboard, yet still manage to be addicting to the point that we are fooled into thinking that they are amazing. The result is that if we haven't had them for a while, the reality doesn't live up to the memory and we feel let down.
Also see: Pizza, Tofutti

Also see: Pizza, Tofutti yeah you might be right. I haven't bought that Tofutti pizza in years because it's so junky...but I have fond memories. I think I can live with just the memories for now.

Recently, my partner and I bought over 80 bags of the personal sized Tings at a San Diego discount store called GTM (similar to Big Lots). It was $9 for all 80 bags. They were about to expire and they literally had a thousand bags there.
We were giving them out left and right to everyone we know. I can say for sure I have no interest in eating them for a long time now. I also think they aren't as good as they used to be.

If anyone lives near a Woodmans, I just saw them there, and Woodmans is usually much cheaper than WF.

I actually ended up finding them at Rainbow after all! They were in the chip aisle but on the opposite side of the rest of the chips, on the top shelf. I had to ask for a stranger's help to get the bagS down.
