who has a fall/winter CSA? what'd you get and what are you making with it?
this week i got: arugula spaghetti squash onions beets 3 gala apples 3 honeycrisp apples
i made autumn lakes from vcon with the beets (and onion instead of shallot) and the leftover sweet potatoes and carrots from last week's share. making a bunch of apple desserts since i've been getting apples every week (pie so far). and salads!

mizuna (stolen by the kitten of the house -- see pic on blog), orange carrots (pineapple/carrot muffins), onions (pantry staple), rutabaga (roasted with potatoes), celeriac & turnips (mashed with potatoes), garlic (pantry staple), parsnips (parsnip/tomato soup).
This week was the last of the baskets for this season... and I'm not going back next year. I'm growing my own!
