Quiche help-tofu question

I want to make vegan quiche but all the recipes I have found call for silken tofu. I have soyganic tofu-extra firm. Would that work? Is silken just a brand or does it have a different texture?

Also, what are your favorite quiche recipes? Can it be done without nooch? I am not supposed to have yeast but since it's so little and my candida has been under control lately it probably won't be terrible for me.

I love Isa's broccoli quiche recipe. It uses extra-firm tofu and does not call for nooch, so it would be perfect for you!

yes! neither of the vegan brunch quiches call for nooch or silken tofu.

I am really excited to try this recipe. I am not supposed to have mustard either(because of the vinegar in it) but I imagine I could sub mustard powder with a bit of water instead? hopefully that wouldn't be too spicy...

My favorite is the carmelized onion quiche from Vegan Brunch. It takes forever to carmelize the onions (it took me a LOT longer than it said in the recipe) but it is totally worth it. Not many incredients in that one either!

This one is my favorite quiche recipe ever! I can easily put away 1/2 of one of these in a meal.
