Tonight I dumped chickpeas in a bowl, mixed in marinara sauce from a jar, and microwaved. Dinner!

Yum. . . beans + marinara sauce or salsa is one of my favorite lazy dinners. I had a can of TJ's veggie chili (repackaged Amy's I believe). I need to get out of the house for a while so will probably go get some So Delicious ice cream and some of that later. Yaaaay convenience foods.

I roll dough out with my pasta roller and cut it into squares approximately the same length as width. I put them on a cookie sheet in the freezer and put a dozen at a time stacked up in a freezer bag. You can pull one out and flip it a few times in the frying pan for a wrap. You can put stuff on it and bake it on a pizza stone for a cracker crust individual pizza. You can bake it crisp to break up into crackers. It is a nice way to make homemade convenient because let's face it less people do homemade because of the convenience factor.

Slices of tofurkey turkey (the deli slices) and tomato. Because I'm lazy and I was worried about both going bad/rotting. Yes.

The other night I had a sandwich that consisted of: garlicky tahini sauce, cucumbers, tomato, lettuce, and hot sauce on a hamburger bun.

I had a moment today where I wondered if this was weird, so I googled 'oatmeal creamed corn'. Apparently it makes excellent carp bait. =/ Awww. This made me laugh out loud from the cuteness. (That sounds terrible, by the way!)

Folded in flatbread: somewhat failed seitan, air dried cheddar, vegenaise + siracha. But I pressed it in the sandwich plates of my waffle maker, so I'm callin' it classy.

One of my college roommates used to eat creamed corn liberally sprinkled with grape nuts and topped with ketchup. I can't judge, because I never tried it, but I really want to judge.

I'm currently on a pesto-and-bread kick. Last week was deep fried dumplings week. I had them 8 times in a week.

Last night I cooked a bunch of food for lunches and freezing, but ended up just eating steamed Brussels sprouts dipped into the Cheezy Sauce from VCON. Simple, but good.

I cooked one of my lazy bachelorette meals for my boyfriend the other night and now he keeps asking for more of my "single girl meals". Pasta, nooch, salt and olive oil.
If he's impressed with that, he'll really love the others: Microwaved rice noodles with soy sauce and peas Tofu dog on bread An entire container of rice crackers and hummus Gummy bears Coconut ice cream and a beer
