I did not know these exist, but they sound amazing.

I was going to have popcorn with nooch, but inadvertently burnt the popcorn in the microwave (to the point that I was grateful that our smoke detector doesn't work). Instead I had steam-in-the-bag broccoli with "economy peanut sauce" (soy sauce and peanut butter). Also had a coconut water, and multiple hard ciders.

I had cereal or sandwiches for all meals yesterday and almost continued the trend today, but got home early so had gnocci with peas, sprouted hemp pesto (which is not as nice as the cheaper pesto so I won't get again) and disappointing cheese. Tomorrow I'd better make lots of veg and protein.

I love that if I'm cooking for just myself I can make the strangest combinations and nobody is going to whinge. Last night I had cheesy-peas personal pizza (peas in nacho-cheese sauce plus onions on a pizza base - surprisingly great!), plus soya-sauce-sautéed sprouts and leftover Christmas chestnut roast en croute.

Okay you weren't lying, they're pretty great!

Last night I had a whole Vego bar nibbled at between 4.30 pm and 6.10 pm. I had intended to have some proper food too but I fell asleep.

Last night I had two medium-sized potatoes made into a big pile of oven fries (boiled for 5 minutes, tossed in flour and spices, then baked) with a plate with almost every condiment I had in my fridge. It was the best, and I might have it again tonight, but prob need to add a side of veggies this time.

Ha, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has done this. Condiments f t w.

Tonight's bachelorette meal was garlic & herb cheezly on toast with a splash of Worcestershire sauce. I have a bag of spinach/watercress/rocket in the fridge that I'll probably inhale later to get some nutrients, heh.

Chili cheeze fries. Few nights ago we did twice baked potatoes, insides mashed with cheeze sauce, topped with vegan bacon bits.

They are! I love them more than the jalepeno ones- same kick, less heat.

I'm not sure what to make tonight, so I think it's going to end up being crackers and cheese left from NYE, even though I need to make something with leftovers so I have work lunches for the next few days.

A Luna bar, cider, and some Dang bacon-flavored coconut chips. I really like coconut chips in general, and these are my new favorite!

I just had the most amazing sandwich. Croissant (THE BREAD NOT THE OTHER THING), homemade mayo, bacon bits, pickle, tomato, and sliced seitan o'greatness. I ate four, restraining myself from eating more.

Well, dark chocolate is full of anti-oxidants and peanut butter is a good source of protein, so it's technically good for you. Right?

I totally read this as the bread from the get-go, but now that you mention that. . . please, nobody, feel the need to stuff that stuff in the other kind of "croissant." It's bad enough people are putting spices in or something now?

Jokes aside: that sounds DELICIOUS.

Last night I had a little burger party by myself. Quorn vegan southern fried burger, Linda M spinach & mushroom burger and nacho bean burgers. Basically I was really hungry and not in the mood to cook, frozen burgers to the rescue.

In the whole January money saving challenge, I've been trying to cook dinners with what I already have instead of going to the store every day after work, so I was going to do tostadas since I have tons of tortillas, refried beans, veggies, and guacamole... but I was too lazy, so I had a single (huge) potato, cut into fries, baked, and covered with mustard bbq sauce and some roasted garlic jalapeno sauce I'm trying to perfect (this version is not it).

Likely a couple slices of the banana bread I made earlier and maybe some kale for some green. Or nix that and just popcorn. Or who knows. I'm feeling indecisive.

Okay, the popcorn standard (now my new band name) won out- popcorn with salt, nooch, garlic, and EB. And some Chai Rooibos with whiskey in it.

Ohh I didn't know they had minis; I need those.

Apparently my meal plan this week is to buy a salad from Panera every day. (Their Mediterranean Quinoa Almond one is actually pretty good!) I haven't cooked much or grocery shopped in like two weeks. At least it gets me eating some healthy things, so whatever.

Tonight I made a box of rice-a-roni and put scraps of leftover veggies in the pot. It actually came out really well.
