Hi guys, I want to know what you think of my potential menu for a small dinner party I'm having on Saturday night. We're inviting two friends over so there will be four of us total. I wanted to do a greek/mediterranean theme. Does this sound like a good mix of dishes? I added pics to give you a good idea. I'm not sure about the bean dish. I might want to swap that out for something else... Vwav spanakopita Heirloom tomato bruschetta (with fresh baguette) Greek gigantes (lima beans in tomato dill sauce) baklava

That all looks sooooo delicious. I wish I were coming over for that dinner! Are you serving the bruschetta or the spanakopita as an appetizer, or just everything at once? It looks like a great menu. I have a tendency to go overboard, so I'd be tempted to add v'con lemony potatoes or an orzo or cous cous pilaf or maybe a simple sauteed zuchini or eggplant or broccoli, or start with a tomato or lentil soup. But, like I said, I tend to over do it. You probably have all you need for a lovely dinner right there.

Everything looks amazing, I want an invite! If you don't want to do the bean dish, I heartily second the suggestion for lemony potatoes. Orzo or pearl couscous tossed with artichoke hearts, olives, tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice, and parsley would be really good, too -- plus tofu feta, if you're feeling SUPER fancy.

I like it! I especially like that there's no super big entree - the bean dish would be unique! go for it.

I would toss in another vegetable side to eat with the beans, but otherwise everything looks delicious! A crispy Romaine salad with olives and lemon juice or sauteed zucchini, like someone mentioned.

I think the food you're making looks great. If I did anything I would proabably add a salad or something green for a little bit more color.

Yes + the VCON lemony potatoes. Lucky guests! It's been forever since I've made that spanakopita.

It does all sound amazing! I would probably add a grain or a salad (or a grain salad!) to be eaten with the beans.

I think all sounds amazing. The only thing is that maybe spanikopita plus baklava is too much puff pastry for one meal (although both of those photos have me wanting to lick my screen).

I would think something cool and refreshing would be nice. Like a cucumber salad with soy yogurt and mint. BTW, I've never seen lima beans actually look appetizing before, so props to you.
