Tomorrow we are having an office BBQ tomorrow... So, naturally, there will be nothing there I can actually eat. (Last time it was literally hamburger, hot dogs, potato chips, and an assortment of cookies)
So... WHAT should I take with me? I'm wanting it to be something that would be good cold or at room temp (not sure if I'll have access to a microwave). I'm already going to make a pasta salad w/ vegannaise, celery salt, and olive as my side... Vegan and vegetarian suggestions are welcome. I was thinking about just taking some egg salad (or making a "chicken" salad w/ seitan? Has anyone tried that?)
Quick like a bunny because I need to go shopping tonight!

Nevermind. Wound up with stuff to make egg salad sammiches (everything vegan... except the eggs. LOL) and my pasta salad.
I do love that I have fallen in love with vegannaise SO much that I'll use it even when I'm preppy vegetarian noms. I also got the Food for Life gluten free english muffins (which happen to be vegan) so I'm excited about trying those. And these vegan, g/f chocolate bite things. My friend (who works with me) is a gluten free vegetarian so I thought I'd try to find something that wouldn't make her super sleepy (not allergic to gluten, just sensitive).
