Regular stores are carrying he dehydrated kind now. A teeny little box.
Beware of southern waffle shops, the places around here throw bacon grease on theirs, not oil.

i'm reviving this thread bc i made sad, greasy hashbrowns for my crush this morning. it was so embarrassing bc normally i'm a kitchen bad-ass. moral of the story: always consult the ppk first. should this become the next popular acronym? ACPPKF? no? ok, then.
i'm confident that with the power of some straining and my cast iron skillet, the next round of hashbrowns will be something to write home about.
in the mean time, any suggestions as to what to do w/ my crappy left-over hashbrowns? could i do a version of a savory pie with them?
