So, Stop & Shop seriously ripped me off for these portobella caps (and I'm too much of a wimp to ever complain about these things), so I am now determined to make the best goddamn portobella caps that have ever graced the surface of the planet in order to make me feel better about having overpaid.
I was gonna just wing it (since the sign made it look like they were CHEAP so I thought it would be a fun experiment!) but in light of me now being deeply invested in these damn things, I want to make sure I get this right.
What do you guys stuff your mushrooms with? Do you have a go-to stuffed mushroom recipe?
I use the stuffed mushroom recipe from the Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen. Super yummy and it makes for a great starter or dinner if you're using the large portabella caps.
