Just saw this at our co-op. Never even heard of it. Anyone tried it? Looks Daiya-like.

Not tried it. But man, I wish those cheesesticks were vegan!

I've definitely seen their non-vegan cheeses in stores but never the vegan one. Good to know it is disgusting!

I tried the cheddar. I like both Daiya cheddar or pepper jack and FYH mozz. This stuff tasted like... I don't even know. NOT cheese like at all. It reminded me of something but I couldn't put my finger on it.

I saw this at WF today and thought about seeing if anyone had tried it. It's cheap, so I thought about it but decided not to. Glad I didn't

Depending on the price, it could encourage me out of pure morbid curiosity. I have this problem in grocery stores, especially when strange potato chip flavors and odd fruits are involved.

I had to search for this so I can warn the world: IT IS BAD. So bad. It has this weird playdoh flavor that you cannot hide. I have never met a vegan cheese I couldn't at least tolerate. Brian ended up flicking most of it out of his taco.

So sorry you had to experience it. Can't believe anyone put that stuff on the market.

The Daiya was enjoyed while the Lisanatti was never even finished. So bad. I ate the mozzarella shreds, and it tasted like olives and something else, but in a gross way.

I never saw this thread before so when it appeared in my health food store I was like, "How is there vegan cheese that i've never heard of?" Because it's total dog shiitake.
