I made this except with GF brown rice penne and a ton of broccoli. It was amazing. JENNA's recipes are the best.

Last night was katsu curry - slices of aubergine, sweet potato and oyster mushrooms battered and breaded with panko, then deep fried, katsu curry sauce (from a brick/package) and rice. Delicious greasiness.

Pasta with balsamic roasted cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper & chickpeas with olive oil, garlic, fresh basil and grated air-dried parmesan from AVC. I had a watermelon beer earlier tonight so it's been a very pretending-it's-summer-type-of-evening.

It was good! Makes me really look forward to mid-summer tomato goodness.

Tonight we're having grits cakes, maple balsamic roasted brussel sprouts, chicken fried seitan and steamed kale raab with red hot tahini.

Also corn bread, and yuca from the freezer that I have been saving/forgot about.
Dessert is oatmeal bread with chocolate chips and a swirl of blackberry jam baked in cast iron.

I'm making the red lentil cauliflower curry from Vcon for the first time (with added chickpeas since I was half short on the lentils) with a brown/black rice mix.

Please tell me more! Is this a product I can buy in the store, or a home brew you or a friend brewed up? I'm not a big beer fan, but I like fruit beers that taste more like fruit than beer!

I did not take any! But we had the arepas chilli candy, terre a tiffin, a rosti, and jojo and I split churros with chocolate sauce. Oh and the table split smokey chips with avocado hash. Amazing!

It's from California and so, so pleasant: http://21st-amendment.com/beers/hell-or ... atermelon/ I hadn't ever seen it on tap before, but I've bought the cans previously (and storytime, some friends and I once did a BBQ/watermelon beer marinade for tofu kebabs over a fire and it was something fun!)

Plus, Barnivore says it's vegan-friendly.

Bridgeport Stumptown Tart is also a nice one to look out for (and I think changes the fruit around every summer

Lyndsay, KJ and I went to their brewery! We convinced Lyndsay to play hooky from work.

Garlicky Thyme Tempeh, mashed potatoes with Vegenaise Pesto dip/spread mixed in, and a big asparagus salad with lemon tahini dressing. It's amazing and my four year old refuses to eat anything but the potatoes.
