Last night was katsu curry - slices of aubergine, sweet potato and oyster mushrooms battered and breaded with panko, then deep fried, katsu curry sauce (from a brick/package) and rice. Delicious greasiness.

Pasta with balsamic roasted cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper & chickpeas with olive oil, garlic, fresh basil and grated air-dried parmesan from AVC. I had a watermelon beer earlier tonight so it's been a very pretending-it's-summer-type-of-evening.

Pinto bean chili with the last jar of tomatoes from last years garden ;-(
Also corn bread, and yuca from the freezer that I have been saving/forgot about.
Dessert is oatmeal bread with chocolate chips and a swirl of blackberry jam baked in cast iron.

I did not take any! But we had the arepas chilli candy, terre a tiffin, a rosti, and jojo and I split churros with chocolate sauce. Oh and the table split smokey chips with avocado hash. Amazing!

Plus, Barnivore says it's vegan-friendly.

Bridgeport Stumptown Tart is also a nice one to look out for (and I think changes the fruit around every summer

Garlicky Thyme Tempeh, mashed potatoes with Vegenaise Pesto dip/spread mixed in, and a big asparagus salad with lemon tahini dressing. It's amazing and my four year old refuses to eat anything but the potatoes.

Such a good dinner! Isa pizza from VWAV, V'con caesar salad, white wine and bananas foster (bananas, maple syrup, Kahlua, coconut oil, cinnamon & walnuts) with coconut ice cream. YUM!
