Butternut Bisque with Sage. I made a giant vat of hot and sour soup at the beginning of the week, hoping to freeze some for later, but instead we just lived off hot and sour soup all week. I tried to make a giant vat of butternut bisque, but it shrank when blended. I should probably give up on having enough of this soup left over to freeze either. This fall weather is just making us slurp soup non-stop!

I'm back to this PPK because I miss this thread. Not quite doing it for me over there with the daily threads.
so!
last night: bowls w/ sg brown rice, smokey soy curls, shredded brussels w/ garlic, ginger, jalapeno, pickled watermelon radish, calypso beans and gochujang sauce.
tonight: pasta e ceci and maybe sauteed broccoli raab

breakfast tofu banh mi from VEW with the star anise pickles, which I have never made before. I forgot how good this sammich is! I think I might actually have some of the scramble left over for breakfast tomorrow.

jdfunks, I'm with you. The reddit, although nice, can not replace the ppk for me yet.

Indian veggie cutlets, smashed n baked potatoes w/tinned gravy and steam roasted broccoli.
dinnergram!
Dessert which I normally don't do was a banana, a kiwi and half a bar of dark chocolate (nuts and pear flavor! or bits, maybe both... its from Ireland and tasty).

eta: While I am determined to reddit, I do still prefer the pop up massive thread that is the forum. Stuff like the what you ate for diner and other threads are just always within arms reach where I still feel kinda spammy starting new threads on reddit every week or few days. I mean I know that is how reddit works but my brain is still stuck in forum land.

I would definitely suggest the reddit enhancement suite add on for the browsers as it has helped me quite a bit. More experienced and wise ppk redditors pointed it out as it will tell you about new comments and allows you to subscribe to threads plus tweak all kinds of helpful things to make it more user friendly.

Chickpea cutlets with gravy; brussels with walnuts and dried cranberries.

I made a double batch of the cutlets and shaped some into wings and will be smothering them with Frank's hot sauce for Wednesday dinner.
yum

Last night was pinto and tvp enchiladas in green sauce. Miyoko's cashew sour cream topped them off perfectly.

I'm going to try making my magical cheesy queso dip I make with silken tofu into mac & cheese. With brussels and tempeh bacon bits.

Gonna need some comfort food tonight.

French fries. And then some leftover enchiladas. I was pretty happy to find an appetite and be able to keep food down today.

Seriously, I'm trying, but seeing this remotely active and having ONE thread vs. the daily ones is much more appealing. There's no routine in the daily thread thing.

Viva Vegan Green Posole from my freezer with oven roasted squash from my garden. Yeah, at this point I kind of feel like I'm going for the honor of being the last to post on the PPK forums.

Last night I had this Mushroom Chickpea Soup from Vegan Richa: http://www.veganricha.com/2015/11/mushr ... reens.html

For tonight, I'm going to peruse Superfun Times and find something awesome to make. Not sure what yet, as I just got it and haven't had a chance to painstakingly look through it. Stupid work!
