I find myself with 10oz left over from the 12oz container.
Hate to have it go to waste.
Any ideas for savory dishes that can be made with this?

oh yeah, muffins aren't savory,but dip and nachos are. I don't really cook with tofu sour cream, I just use it to top things. Seven layer dip is always a good idea.

Apparently I cannot read. I saw tofutti and assumed it was cream cheese.
I made creamy mushroom fettuccini from AFR last week, and I bet it would be extra awesome with some sour cream stirred in.

Sauté leeks & mushrooms, throw in some slow-roasted tomatoes, asparagus & toasted pinenuts, mix in the sour cream & a little pesto...serve over fettuccine. Or, as suggested, make a stroganoff. Or make some pierogi (my new favourite food) & use some in the dough, some mixed with mashed potato, caramelised onions & chives for the filling, & reserve some to make a creamy sauce to drizzle over the top.

Pancakes stuffed with creamy mushrooms.
I use 50% regular flour + 50% gram flour and add a little soya milk & salt for the pancake batter. Slice and cook the mushrooms in a little oil with garlic, seasoning, and any herbs you have to hand. Stir in tofutti towards the end of cooking, you may need to thin ever so slightly with soya milk

While I'm not one to advise against making stroganoff, Tofutti sour cream keeps FOREVER. I've been working on the same tub for at least six months.

I like to mix it with ketchup, seasoning salt, a little veganaise and (vegan) worstershire sauce and eat it with waffle fries. It's a tweaked version of the seasoned sour cream they use at a lot of chain restaurants.
