Hmm. Years ago, I got some of the larger size ones from Bake It Pretty. But I've never seen the tiny ones without confectioner's glaze.
Ooh! Poopiebitch made that sprinkle cake a while back and I think it had those on it. Hopefully she'll post!

After a second look at that site, I'm not totally sure what they're selling. I know the picture shows a cupcake with non pareil sprinkles, but the ingredients lists cocoa as the second ingredient, and all the other non pareils on that site are the chocolate candies. I would probably call them first before placing an order.

Some of the Wilton sprinkles are vegan. I have some pastel colored nonpariels that I bought a couple easters ago. I found them at Walmart.

So poopie, I think you are totally right about those candies being the chocolate disks. I searched by the name of the product "rainbow maxi' and all of those are the disks. I emailed a few vendors that didn't have ingredient lists on their website so I hope I can find a more affordable source. I wish those indian tree brand sprinkles were vegan how much fun would it be to have a 3.5 pound jar of them!?

I don't know if you're still looking, but I ordered some a year or so ago from an online Kosher grocery store. I don't remember the name of the store, but the sprinkles were Gold Nut brand. They don't have carmine or confectioners glaze, but I don't know the source for the sugar, and they have red 40 which I read is iffy because it's tested on animals maybe? I dunno, they looked vegan to me based on my guidelines. The shipping was hefty if I remember, so I also ordered white chocolate chips, and the longer sprinkles people sometimes call jimmies in chocolate and rainbow. And dark chocolate gelt. Because of the shipping. Not because I have a sugar problem. Nope, not at all.

I was going to say try a Kosher grocery store, just watch out for weird egg ingredients. Also passover is coming up, so they may even be in the regular supermarket for the holiday

I was at TJ Maxx a couple days ago and found some vegan nonpareils - not rainbow, but some of the big white pearly ones and some tiny orange and pink ones.
