I made the puffy pancakes from Isa's blog, and smothered them with coconut peanut spread. I don't know why I waited so long to try the recipe. it's super easy and the pancakes turned out great!

Best breakfast I've had in months and it was a clean-the-fridge brekkie: Whole grain toast (Silver Hills Need for Seed) topped by guacamole, AFR basic baked tofu, and a sprinkling of roasted smoky shiitakes. Served with an incredibly sweet and juicy orange. And a lovely cup of black, burning hot, coffee. I'm tempted to go back to bed because I don't see how the day could get any better. . .

Instead of my boring-ass same everyday packet of instant organic oatmeal I eat at my desk, I am trying out some new protien powder shakes. I got one of those shakers with the ball in it, fill it with vanilla soymilk at home, then mix it when i get to work as soon as my morning nausea goes away (I am always nauseuous a bit in the morning-from my BC pills)

This week I am trying out the Amazing Meals. both the chocolate and vanilla chai were alright. Not amazing, but OK. Much better tasting than vega! I want a shake that has some protein + vitamins. I think I need them. I wish I could blend them at work with a banana or something.

Also eating a bit of fruit with it. Cantalope today. Not a bad breakfast, for me anyway. still wish i could use a blender at work though.

Oatmeal with homemade sunbutter and raisins. Leftover toasted walnuts. A big pot of tea.

And because I decided to give in to the gluttony, leftover phyllo (forest-picked) raspberry tart.

I've been eating frozen applesauce (very good!) and Clif bars lately.

The best part is ending it with So Delicious ice cream every morning.

Overnight oats (oats, chia, amande yogurt, soymilk, cinnamon) topped with strawberries, granola and pb. With a glass of beet/cucumber/apple/grapefruit juice.
My breakfasts have been shitty lately so this is a nice change of pace.

I want your breakfast! So, you add the yoghurt the night before?

OK, so I tried the overnight oats recipe from paprikapapaya's blog and it was awesome. I served it with a nectarine, some bilberries (that I picked yesterday), and walnuts but I'll try it with lingonberries next. It reminded me so much of a dessert I used to have as a kid and that I had completely forgotten about. That one had oats and lingonberries.

That sounds amazing.

I had leftover kamut and spelt waffles with fruit salad and blueberry sauce from heartwood.

For the past two mornings in a row I've had a bowl of chopped peach and banana, with some chopped almonds, walnuts, a spoonful of oats and some soymilk. Maybe simple, but definitely the best breakfast I've had in a while.
