(I told my mom about my first and second breakfast habits [something light when I first wake up, something more substantial about an hour later] and she called me a hobbit, which I took as the highest praise.) I'm late chiming in but Hobbit was the first thing I thought!

I've been obsessed with soy yogurt lately. I've been buying the big tub of Whole Soy plain and adding in sometimes blueberries (fresh - free from my work), sometimes raspberries (frozen), and lots of super nutty granola. And cinnamon. Omg so good. I actually eat this not only for breakfast every day now, but twice a day for desert too.

Tofu salad & hot cocoa. Nom.
re: ashley's comment. Yeah. Me too. I think a ; between jam and banana would've made parsing that breakfast a lot easier.

Store-bought cookies with tea, and green smoothie (apple, orange, banana, spinach, apple juice).

Today was soy yogurt, homemade strawberry balsamic jam, and granola on top!
Tomorrow's going to be a bowl of Kashi Simply Maize cereal with soy milk.

A smoothie with the nastiest raw protein powder. So much hate. I'm using it because it was expensive, but breakfast has become punishment.

Is there something you could add to the smoothie to cover up the flavor? Like ripe bananas or peanut butter? Peanut butter makes (almost) everything better!

It's not Sun Warrior raw protein is it? I have to add more sweetener and cocoa to mine just to mast the pea protein taste.
I had some maple-pecan cereal with soy milk and a cup of tea.

It's Garden of Life plain raw protein. It's made of all sorts of healthy sprouted stuff, but it's kinda like shoving a handful of sand into your mouth. I hate it so much.
I've tried all sorts of stuff to mask the flavor, and have been reasonably successful, but I can't fix the texture problem. Even the mighty vitamix can't make it smooth.

Hearty whole grain bread with spicy yellow lentil hummus and watercress.
Super-Target has cool stuff sometimes. I hardly go there because it's on the other side of town, but I bought this hummus a couple of days ago and it's really good! I could probably make it myself fairly easily, though...
