Overnight oats. Oats, mashed banana and golden flax-meal soaked in almond milk - topped with five sliced stawberries and Key Lime West Soy yogurt. Yum.

I woke up really late, chugged a glass of almond milk and then rushed over to the neighborhood farmer's market where I gorged on fruit samples. Hooray for Saturdays!!

I'm in a breakfast rut so I had leftover cold New Farm mac and cheese this morning and it was awesome!

Weird breakfast. . . a cup of coffee with lots of Silk creamer (I've mostly been a diehard black coffee person, but lately I've been craving creamy coffee), leftover jicama/apple/carrot salad from a wedding that my roommate catered, and some PB eaten with a spoon. I was kind of hungover, and this didn't really cut it.

I work late today so I just ate something way too random: EB mac with a Shasta Cola.
I've lost control of my life.

Overnight oats with some vanilla protein powder and fresh raspberries from my garden. And tea.

I'm trying to get out of the habit of sugary/bready/carby breakfasts, so I made a big pot of spicy miso soup and have been eating a bowl for breakfast. It's great.

That's one of my favourite breakfasts to make in the winter, so so good.

Sounds awesome. I got really into eating dal for breakfast on my cruise, I should do that at home.

Maybe that's what I'll make for breakfasts next week! OOH! Or that red lentil/quinoa magic that Tofulish invented that one time! Thanks for the idea!

Oh She Glows has a yummy looking savoury bowl with oatmeal and red lentils - that's an option too!

Red lentil quinoa magic, I vaguely remember this being mentioned before. I am not super big on sweet breakfasts so that sounds yummy. Will have to look for it.

I just bought about 15 pounds of summer fruit at the u-pick, so... something with fruit. I need to make some meusli for tomorrow. Perfect vehicle for lots and lots of fruit.

I had smoked tofu with sriracha. I keep doing breakfast wrong! But interesting note--ever since I made my breakfasts more proteiny--I'm less hungry (because, duh, protein), but also my hair is getting so thick! It's weird. I am soooooo obsessed with the local tofu here so I'm making scrambles on the regular. I never really liked tofu scramble all that much until I tasted this tofu. My favourite is with just garlic, lemon juice, and chaat masala.
