it says to make the dough then refrigerate it for 4 hours or overnight. would over a day be excessive?
i was thinking of making the dough now (2:30pm) and then baking the actual cookies tomorrow around 6pm.
i dont know the sciency stuff about baking so i wasnt sure if that was too long

I think that would be fine. Pretty sure I've left it ~24 hours before. Interested to hear what some of the baking sciencey people say though.

they are done and in the fridge! by the time i actually got to making them it was more like 4:30 so it will probably be like a little over 24 hours by the time i get to them tomorrow

In my household, there would be a 95% chance that cookie dough would be all gone by the time the 24 hours were past.
