I hope this isn't just regional so it may be of use to many of you but,
Speculoos Spread, Lotus Brand is sold in Walgreens now apparently. At least it was there today and I got some for $4.79. It comes with a coupon for $1 off the next jar you buy, I guess to keep you addicted.
Sorry if this is old news but its exciting to me.

Yes! I saw it at the local Walgreens and I'm gonna get some really soon. Never had it before, so I'm excited.

They don't need incentives to keep people addicted.

there was a coupon on coupons.com in the past weeks. it might still be there. yep! found it! $1.50 off two Biscoff Creamy or Crunchy Spread http://cchvjj.cpns.cc(i don't know if there are different varieties, but when it first came to the US, i looked at a jar in wholefoods, and it definitely had milk or something as an ingredient, not as a shared equipment thing. has it changed since then?)

I've never seen milk listed as an ingredient in Biscoff spread. Maybe they changed the recipe?

the Lotus brand is definitely vegan. it says 'vegan' on the label in the US, even. (though, funnily enough, it doesn't mention vegan on the Belgian jar of the exact same thing)

I saw it at Hobby Lobby the other day. And it's just now registering in my brain that that was strange.

I get mine at Trader Joes. I love that shiitake so much. I need more ideas of what to do with it though cuz I usually just eat it out of the jar with a spoon.

My jars from Grocery Outlet are vegan. I like spreading it on fried bagels for breakfast, especially if I'm backpacking. Not exactly a health food, but so yummy!

The whole foods near me only carries Natural Nectar brand spread, which as you say has milk in it. (The cookies do too.) Luckily I found the Lotus brand spread at the CVS near here, otherwise I might have had to move again.

One day in, 25% of the jar gone, and that was with the most restraint I could muster, or else it would all be gone. It is dangerous news indeed.

We found it at Meijer the other day. Walmart also carries it, but that would require shopping at Walmart. I like the crunchy the best. I saw a food porn post here where someone used creamy Biscoff as cupcake frosting, and that's pretty genius.

Sorry. I was SO upset when I found out. You are in California, go to Wallgreens or Cost Plus they have it there!
Interestingly enough, my omni partner was upset and grossed out too. I told him he could buy a jar for himself, and he was like "no way, that's gross" and proceeded to head over to the meat department and buy himself some chicken.

Sorry to bump an old thread (oldie but goodie!)... If you want to try Biscoff spread for FREE, I have a bunch of jars that are Sell-By-Dated for 11/6/12 and I CAN'T have that many in my house or they will be my demise. I put them in our Rabbit Food Grocery store with an automatic coupon at checkout that makes them FREE (not including shipping). Feel free to browse around and add other stuff that would go well - cake mixes, french toast mix, etc. ;) While supplies last, and I'm shipping all orders tomorrow, so they'll get to you quick! I'm a Biscoff Spread addict, and I approved this message. ;-P

I have seen the Lotus brand Biscoff at Fresh & Easy and Safeway here in Phoenix. I have never seen crunchy before. Now I am desperate to try it! Off topic: Fresh & Easy also has my fave flavor Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter: Cinnamon Raisin Swirl. I never see it anywhere else.

In the UK, its just started being sold in Waitrose.
I love the biscuits but find the spread too much, so eating it out the jar isn't an option. What else can I do with it, apart from give it away?
