I don't have the Yellow Rose book, and in fact am shocked, SHOCKED!, that I've never heard of it. You learn summin' new every day! Since the available new copies are Amazon are selling for $500 (!!-that must be some awesome cookbook!), I'll stick to Vegan Diner for now. Gonna try the Great Smokey Mountain Cheeze on your recommendation, and also because I have more crackers in my house than I can shake a stick at.

If you're interested, Joanna released a Yellow Rose Greatest Hits cookbook, which has most of the Yellow Rose recipes plus some recipes from her zines. You can see the recipe list and photos here http://www.joannavaught.com/yellow-rose-greatest-hits/ and you can buy the book here https://www.createspace.com/3832556 if you like what you see. I love YRR, and I have both the original that I got in a cookbook swap and the Greatest Hits, so I recommend them highly.

Thanks, zensquiggle!

I am going to check out the list, as you suggest, but very likely I will be buying YRGH. I figure that it's got to be good if it's the (sort of) the basis of a PPK cookbook challenge!

I am loving this cookbook so much! Everything I've made from this is a winner!
