GraciaKai wrote: Actually I just read in the paper today that people are taking to Dunkin Donuts pumpkin flavored coffee because it is cheaper and less calories. So you could get that and add soy creamer to it and maybe some cinnamon. Or if you bought a bag of the coffee for home you could add it to steamed soy milk and then sprinkle in some pumpkin pie spice! Apparently Dunkin pumpkin coffee isn't vegan ( http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 409AASAat3): "Pumpkin and vanilla coffees are not vegan, but all other flavored coffees are, including the chocolate flavor-shot kind." I was really sad finding this out, oh well. . .

Oh no! Nevermind then, I thought they sold pumpkin flavored beans. I didn't realize it was a drink with syrup. Sorry everyone!

Dunkin used to sell seasonal coffee flavors in grocery store...ground pumpkin spice coffee...so I wouldn't think that would be syrup-based. I haven't looked for them this year.

For anyone that has a crockpotedit: just substitute the milk with your sub of choice.

That caffeine bomb of a coffee and tea creation of missmuffcake's sounds amazing! If I really need energy I might try it sometime! So, okay, I think I am onto an iced drink version of a pumpkin latte. It tastes really close to the right flavour profile of a coffee shop one, and it's easy to make. I will share it once it gets a bit closer to what I want. But, like I point out, it's an iced one...nice, but sometime's you need the warmth. So, once I share, somebody's gotta help me translate it to being a hot drink, if at all possible. That's the deal!

I wonder how the Starbucks VIA pumpkin spice is? I haven't been impressed by the one I tried (got for free). It was me! I found vegan PSL at WF. however, I'm also a big fan of the recipe in 500 vegan recipes by Newman/Stein. You have to make it yourself, of course, but I really liked it.

Speaking of, would anyone be willing to PM me the recipe from 500 vegan recipes for the pumpkin spice coffee? Now I want to make it & no longer have the book.

I'd probably buy it again just for something different, but I feel like I've had better. It was missing ginger and nutmeg, maybe. I feel like all that was in there was a little cinnamon and maybe some pumpkin puree?

It was missing ginger and nutmeg, maybe. I feel like all that was in there was a little cinnamon and maybe some pumpkin puree? Maybe because it had been awhile for me. I got one from Peet's yesterday as well and it was a bit more tastier (they read the ingredients to me and unless something weird was in "natural flavors" theirs is vegan as well). I also finally got around to making that recipe today and it was good, especially since I added some coco powder, vegan whipped cream and chocolate chips to it :) But, the spices don't really disolve so you have to continuously stir it while drinking.
