I want to make Terry's Coconut Tres Leches cake for Thanksgiving. I'm going to a family gathering where there are going to be lots of desserts and while I know that my cake will be the best dessert on the table, I will be the only vegan and there are always so many leftovers, I don't want it to go to waste and I don't want to be eating a cake all weekend.
So what I'm asking is, do you have luck with halving cake or cupcake recipes?

I can't speak for that cake in particular but I've halved cupcake recipes with no problems. Just don't forget that you're halving the recipe 3/4 of the way through and dump in the full amount of flour...because that realy sucks.
