Hi folks,
I have a baby on the way in a couple weeks (or days!), and am looking for great freezer recipes to make before baby shows up. We already have lots of soup and lots of muffins. We have a deep freezer, and plenty of space, so any ideas for meals that freeze well would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Curry! Chili!
Stir fries, pot pies, casseroles, loafs (like a lentil loaf), lasagna.
Good luck and congratulations :D

I second chilies and curries. I always make a big pot of chili / curry and freeze three portions out of it. If you have Appetite for Reduction, all the stews works perfectly with that plan. Even the mango BBQ beans freeze really well!
Congratulations!

I have been making a ton of waffles lately and they freeze exceptionally well. I put them on a baking sheet until they're frozen and then transfer to bags. I've found they reheat beautifully in my toaster oven but you can pop them in an oven as well.

This is awesome! I'm moving out in a couple of weeks and will be on the cheap. This is way better than having a stash of processed convenience foods for late nights.
