I'm not sure I've ever had a dessert this good, even when eating omni. Chocolate covered banana slices! So easy to make vegan, and I didn't use a recipe. I saw these in the freezer case at Walmart, and was tempted to buy them. But they looked easy enough to make, and stupidly expensive to buy. They were so good! And the semi sweet chocolate chips I found at a regular grocery store, I didn't have to go to whole foods or anything. I'd have taken a picture but there was no time, I had to eat them all.

Growing up, my mom always made chocolates for christmas. All she would do is use chocolate chips (now she uses vegan chocolate chips) and adds whatever she likes, maybe some nuts or what not but you could easily do various fruits, coconut, etc.

To up the ante even more, at a Thai restaurant in town, they wrap banana slices in phyllo dough and fry them, then serve them with a choice of toppings. They are delicious!
