Now to add the tragedy of the U.S. cheezly drought, the U.S. importer for sheese has stopped importing it. Oh, nonmelting vegan cheese gods, what did we do to deserve this?

I'll save you the trouble...Earth Fare doesn't carry either one. They carry Daiya, Rice Vegan, and Vegan Gourmet here.

They're still selling 'em on Vegan Essentials. What's the best kind so I can try it while I still have the chance?

Why is vegan cheeze from the UK so much better?

If any of you poor dears in the sheeseless heathen lands need a care package*, let me know. I can send sheese, cheezly, Ma Baker bars, Pink Panther wafers, vegan Starburst...
* food swap - will trade fake cheeses for Gimme Lean and Clif Builders Bars.

Because they have all things that are good: medieval and early modern architecture, endless hedgerows, real ale pubs, a bazillion sheep, Linda Mac sausages, no disgusting hot summers or butt-freezing winters... life is better there. Le sigh.

Having experience a Cheezly pizza and a Daiya pizza, I must disagree. Daiya is gross.

My lovely girlfriend ate what was likely the final package of strong cheddar sheese in the Portland area while I was away on vacation. (Or maybe it was gouda, whichever was the last of its kind at Food Fight!)
I'm intrigued by Vegusto and I keep hearing it's coming to the US, but I'm allergic to treenuts and my heart belongs to Cheezly.

I just found out about this today, at Sidecar.
I'm still in the first stage of grief.

Yeah, if anyone I'm meeting on my US adventure wants Cheezly or Sheese (which is made in Scotland, by the way), PM me and we'll come to an arrangement.

I'm going to investigate at Food Fight! this week. It won't be as sad as Cheezly, but, AYE.
Thank goodness for the Artisan Vegan Cheeses book.
