Now to add the tragedy of the U.S. cheezly drought, the U.S. importer for sheese has stopped importing it. Oh, nonmelting vegan cheese gods, what did we do to deserve this?

sigh, i'm such a vegan noob that i can't even fully appreciate the tragic news you are sharing :(

next time I'm at EarthFare I'll have to see if they even carry cheezly or sheese, and if they do, buy some to try! but then if i like it, it would be so sad knowing i couldn't get anymore :(

I'll save you the trouble...Earth Fare doesn't carry either one. They carry Daiya, Rice Vegan, and Vegan Gourmet here.

sad, but probably for the best, as i mentioned above it would be sad to taste the last bit of cheezey goodness and love it and not be able to get it anymore.

i definitely have seen daiya at my earthfare, and i think vegan gourmet too.

I don't know if it's the best, but I'd recommend the blue cheese because there's nothing else similar on the market (that I know of).

My lovely girlfriend ate what was likely the final package of strong cheddar sheese in the Portland area while I was away on vacation. (Or maybe it was gouda, whichever was the last of its kind at Food Fight!)


I'm intrigued by Vegusto and I keep hearing it's coming to the US, but I'm allergic to treenuts and my heart belongs to Cheezly.
