You guys are all so helpful! I totally forgot to mention that they are planning on buying falafel and hummus to bust out later in the evening when half the guests have left, and everyone else is shit-faced (and probably dressed in drag at that point...), and just want to stuff their faces.
I will be making all the food at my home and taking it to the party (which I am attending). Anything warm will have to be cooked before transporting. The party is only about 10 minutes drive away, but people will be eating throughout the evening so everything needs to be good at room temp, too.
Here are some ideas I have (obviously not all of them):
Cherry Sage Sausages in puff pastry (like pigs in a blanket, but slightly classier)
Mini Quiche
Spanakopita
Chorizo Pizza Rolls (think mini cinnamon rolls, but pizza)
Curried Chickpea and/or Pimento Cheese Finger Sandwiches
