I forgot that I needed to buy miso and am way too tired to leave the house. Any ideas?

do you have marmite/vegemite/that type of thing? it ain't the same but it's strong, salty and umami. chinese black bean sauce might be another slightly offbeat but potentially good sub if you have some in your fridge awaiting a stirfry.

Yeah, leave it out. If you have Veganomicon, I think the Caesar dressing recipe doesn't have miso. I don't remember using it, anyway.

I ended up getting my flexi spatula out and just barely scraped out a tablespoon of miso! I'd remembered recycling the jar, but evidently not!
