Post Punk Kitchen Forum

My only disclaimer is that I don't want teflon, and would prefer under $30. I'm used to buying most of my pans in sets or randomly at Ross, and they don't seem to get in much besides teflon anymore. Since I've left it, I never want to go back. Should I get cast iron for this? Stainless steel? Any Amazon recs?

I make pancakes and omelets exclusively on cast iron. Crepes might be a bit of a challenge since the sides of most cast iron pans are almost straight up and down, but you could buy a big pan and just make smaller crepes, or perhaps there might be some short sided cast iron out there.
