I think it's high time I try it, so I'd like to make it tomorrow. But I don't have the 1,5 cups of cashews it calls for, I only have about 1/2 cup, at the most. And the only other nuts I've found in the house are hazel nuts, peanuts and walnuts and I don't think any of those would work. Could I use like chickpeas to fill it up? Or silken tofu? Or should I just wait until I have cashews and make it as it should be?

The only other thing I'd substitute in is maybe sunflower seeds. Otherwise, I'd wait.

Chickpeas might work. They are mild in flavor and have a kind of creamy texture when blended.
You don't have macadamia nuts, huh? Those would probably work.
Let us know if you try it with any substitutions...

I make mine without specific measurements, just the amount i need at the moment, and if I want it creamy I would add my own almond or cashew milk since I dont make them sweet.
