Hello friends, I just acquired a big batch of burnt cashews from work. I was hoping to salvage them by blending them into butter with something to mask the burnt flavor. Ideas? I was considering coconut oil but anything goes.

I think it depends on how sensitive you are to the burnt flavor. Can you scrape the burned bits off?

Good luck saving your nuts!

They're pretty burnt but not unpleasantly so. I like the maple syrup idea! I wish I had a bullet blender so I could do small batches but might just up and do the whole thing. Thanks for the ideas and keep em coming! Wasn't there a thread awhile ago about nut butter ideas?

I'd do something like that too. Maple syrup, smoked salt or salt and liquid smoke. Or chipotle and a weeeeee little bit of liquid smoke.
