I was planning to make cookies and brownies for Christmas gifts this year, only to realize how forking busy I'm going to be the week before I would actually need to give them away. I've never really frozen baked goods. Do they thaw okay? Does the texture change? Any varieties that freeze better than others? I was planning to just make several different batches and mix and match them in gift boxes. I thought I might be able to get some baking done this weekend.

Hmm I was wondering the same thing. It seems everybody in the other thread is saying freeze them baked, but I am going to try freezing the dough, because I just don't have time to make the dough, shape and bake them all today. I want to split up the work.
