Help me find breath mints that are vegan, have a relatively simple ingredients list, and are sugar free. Please!

I like really strong ones, like icebreakers (which I'm not sure are even vegan, and contain aspartame and a bunch of other shiitake I probably shouldn't be eating anyway).

Does such a mint exist?

Would you consider putting a drop of peppermint oil on your tongue?

I love drinking water with a few drops of peppermint oil (I avoid it atm bc of breastfeeding), but its delicious and makes your breath minty and yum

I never would have thought of that, Tofulish! Good idea!

I do like sucking on something, though. Keeps me from wanting to snack mindlessly at my desk.

Sugar free Altoids do not contain the gelatin that their sugary counterparts do.

Oh I didn't realize! I never would have even thought to check, because I'd automatically assume Altoids = not vegan.

while people are looking at mints, can I ask for vegan ones that don't have fake sugar in them? I'm sensitive to aspartame and it seems to be in every mint/gum I look at.

Hint Mint come in a variety of flavors, have cool wavy tins, and have the word vegan right on the tin!!! I'm pretty sure they don't have any sugar free varieties. www.hintmint.com

Polo mints are sugary and delicious and vegan! I have no idea if you have them in The US, but they are worth searching out if you don't.. :)

I believe the Newman's Own mints are ok. They're a lot like the Altoids, but no gelatin.

Trader Joe's has a good sugar free line that comes in regular and vanilla mint. They are by the checkouts.

I feel like the altoids minis, even though they are sugar free, make my mouth taste gross and I have to keep eating them.

I hope I like them. It's been so long since I've had an altoid I don't really even remember what they taste like.

I bought the TJ's ones once and they made me super thirsty!

I know this is gum, but I really love those 'B-Fresh' gums. Made with Xylitol, has a good dose of B-12 in them, and while the flavor does't last very long at all, it's a super strong yummy flavor at first.
