my husband bought me one for xmas and i already love it but i feel like i read several times on this board about a certain part people had break off or snap or something.

can someone tell me where it breaks so i can be extra careful?

im assuming it's the things that look sort of like hooks where the top part slides under.

I think it's just the little things that the top part slides under. it feels breakable. I'm super careful with mine, but i love it so much! i think they're also pretty good about replacing parts if your breaks.

My plastic top part has stress fractures around the base of the cylindrical knob part. Because I stuffed two packages of frozen spinach in it. That's too much; don't try that. Other than that, I've had it almost three years and it's just fine. I've been super careful not to snap the little thingers that the top part slides under.
