I had Nooch Alzheimers yesterday.

Bought some. Already had plenty. Now what?

CHEEEEEEESY pasta.

Turban Squash. The church right down the street had a pumpkin patch and is now giving away all unsold squash. I was so excited to see it and then realized that I'd never used it in anything before. Also - they are really big, so I probably have about 7 pounds of them.... :/

I just hated the thought of the food going uneaten....

as long as the squash aren't blemished they should store very well just as they are. you can use it in place of any winter squash, but personally i would be tempted to cut the top off, stuff it with wild rice, mushrooms, and onion, and bake that sucker.

I bought frozen artichoke hearts from TJ's last night. I've never used artichokes that weren't fresh or from a can. I want to put them to good use! Suggestions?

I have about half (maybe a third) package of Daiya mozz left. Here's some background info: I'm a college student with currently no money to spend on food. So, I can't make anything with pasta, but I do have a plethora of veggies from the school cafeteria and some bread (regular sliced bread + spinach tortillas), along with simple pantry ingredients like flour and such. I'm thinking I'll be boring and throw the mozz & some nooch on these sweet potato black bean quesadillas I'm making soon, but yeah. If you can all inspire me, go for it.

I've got some super fruit, or so the package says. Bought some Goji berries once thinking they would taste awesome. They didn't, they were dry and bitter with a horrible after taste. What do I do with them. Try soaking them? Make granola, put them in muffins? Try forcing the package on one of my more naive friends, telling her she should eat 20 berries a day and she will feel much better?

And don't even try suggesting smoothies. I live in Norway and it's already way below freezing point and my room has bad isolation and no heating.

What do I do with it?

Send them to me. I love them. I eat them by the handful. Yeah, I know that doesn't help at all.

If you were allowed to send food into the United States (although I actually brought it home from there) I might would have. Although shipping would probably cost four times as much as the berries in the first place.

But really by the handful? I have troubles with even one berry!

Ok so I have purchased two bags of cherries recently. The first bag went in the garbage as I foolishly left them on top of the fridge which apparently runs quite hot. Huh. Anyway I have been careful to put the second bag in the fridge this time but I have no idea what to do with them. Sweet or savory dishes I am not fussed.

So give me your fav recipes for juicy cherries pretty please.

What should i do with all of these leftover "ginger roasted winter vegetables," (made from the recipe in VWAV). Any good ways to incorporate into another recipe?

You could grind them up into small bits in a food processor and make little pancakes and panfry them! Or puree them with some broth and/or coconut milk to make soup?
