Yellow Rose Recipes! Potato and Black Eyed Pea soup with dill! (This may not be the title of it, the brain fog is clouding my memory atm.)

Good too (even great!) but completely different story than dill soup :)

Am I the only vegan in the world that thinks dill is the work of the devil?

I'm probably the only one who thinks that reading this thread....

I love dill! It's my favorite herb, and whenever I have some it shows up everywhere. My favorite breakfast/snack is a Wasa cracker or bagel with vegan cream cheese, thin slices of radish, tomato or cucumber, salt/pepper, and tons of fresh dill. Like an open-faced tea sandwich. Yesterday I mixed chopped garlic, lots of lemon zest, dill, salt/pepper and olive oil and tossed it on roasted potato wedges, and that was good. I also made this green bean and potato salad (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paulas-best-dishes/new-potato-and-green-been-salad-recipe/index.html) with lots of fresh dill instead of the dried dill and it was really, really good. I've also mixed it with soy sour cream or yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper (grated cucumber if you've got it) to make a sauce for falafel or roasted veggies.

VwaV Cauliflower Leek Kugel! It's one of my favorites.

i got a big leek and dill from the CSA, so i made this. it was really tasty! (although i had dill burps throughout the night.)

i have another bunch of the stuff, so i might do something with potatoes.

I use fresh dill in place off dried in my avgolemono sometimes; it adds such a nice, bright flavor.

Not liking dill does not compute for me. Most often, I put it in tartar sauce, salad dressing and chickpea salad (my favorite is the recipe from Oh She Glows).
