I know a lot of us use slow cookers and I came across a recall when searching some info on mine. The handles of certain models of Proctor Silex/Hamilton Beach cookers are faulty and can break causing serious burns. I inspected mine and sure enough the handles are about to go on it. Recall phone part was quick and easy and its 3 weeks to the door for a new cooker that won't attack me.
